(4) Mary Smith Towers at Newcastle on 9 Aug 1815.
The only children living to adulthood were from the first marriage: John, Edward and Ann and of these only.

In Brewstar’s History of Stockton-upon-Tees, there is, pp. 155-6, a list of mayors including some Richardson Ferrands in 1751, 1752, 1762, 1801, 1802. Only the last two can have been this chappie, so the first three must have been his father.
