In 1871 a Montague Cecil Brown, single and a cornet in the Hants Yeomanry, was staying with a Mr & Mrs Vincent in Whitchurch Hants. This looks like her first husband and if so she was married after 1871.
In 1861 he was a Lieut in the 15th Hussars, residing with his parents.

The interesting thing about the 1881 census is that she is recorded with a different age by 4 years and a completely different birth location from that in the 1901 census. And I can find no record of her birth for any of these. Similarly I could find none for her brother Charles. I am beginning to be a little suspicious about Caronline, she may have been fabricating more than a little, particularly her father, the supposed Warden of All Souls.
