Notes for Sir William Cockburn
His second son John had a grandson Wiliam who was a London doctor and m. the eldest dau., Mary, of Basil Feilding, 4th earl of Denbigh; they had no issue.
John Rollo, 2nd s. of 1st lord Rollo, m. in 1635 Isabella Cockburn, dau. of Sir William Cockburn of Langton - see SP, vol VII, p. 197. I cannot work out which Wm Cockburn was her father.

GEC in his CB says this Wm Cockburn was the 1st bt.
