Writ, 4 April, 38 Edward III.
Wilts. Inq. made in the city of Salisbury, Tuesday the last day of
April 38 Edward III.
Weremenstre, The manor held of the king in chief by knight's service
in joint feoffment with Juliana his wife, who survives, by a fine
levied in the king's court.
Westbury. A messuage, 2 carucates of land, 20 acres meadow, 100
acres wood and 100s. rent, with the advowson of the chapel there,
held of the king in chief by knight's service, in joint feoffment
as above, and by the same fine. He held no other lands &c. in the
county.
He died on 1 April last. Maud the daughter of Thomas Mauduyt his
son aged 9 years on the Feast of St. Leonard last, is his heir. '
