Ancestor of Shelagh Powys Hancox, fifth cousin of Stephen Powys Marks.
On his death certificate he was 61, a retired school master, died of Syncope and his death was reported on 7th May 1906 by his son, F S P Powys of 53A Bearwood Road, Smethwick.
Russell Powys kindly reports:
In the 1871 census FSP was living at 171 Cattell Toad, Deritend and Bordesley, Birmingham; he and his wife were school master and school mistress and with a 2 year old son Frederick SP Powys.
In the 1881 census they are at 314 Coventry Road, Lemster Place, Aston, Warks and FSP is a commission agent
in the 1891 census Frederick and Mary are on their own at Stoke Prior.
