Notes for Jane Lowe
m. (1) Moulton Lambard, (2) John Garrard.
Her and Moulton's only son and heir was Thomas, a royalist who was forced to sell Westcombe manor.
She was stepmother to Frances Garrard who m. Josias Cross. The evidence is that after Frances (and a few siblings) were orphaned, she looked after them until they were married or adult.
Burke says her forename was Elizabeth. IGI says it was Jane Lowe. Hasted's Kent says she was Anne, dau. of Sir Thomas Lowe, alderman of London. The Lowes have it.
