Notes for Sir Moulton Lambard
IGI reports that he was born c. 1588 and lived at Sevenoaks, Kent and m. Jane Lowe whom IGI says to have subsequently married Sir John Garrard in 1636. Burke's Commoners corroborates this but says her name was Elizabeth...

TFPL, Nov 2003: In his book on the Twysedens, Sir John Ramskill Twisden writes, cryptically (or in ignorance) of the Garrards: "There was more than one marriage between this family [Garrard] and that of Lambard of Westcombe in Greenwich, afterwards of Bradbourne Hall in Sevenoaks."
Interestingly Josiah Crosse, husband of Sir Moultons' widow's stepdaughter came from Greenwich too, so it looks like Sir Moulton's widow went back to live in her home town of Greenwich. One day I'll find out the correct name of Sir Moulton's widow who then married Sir John Garrard.
Later that day: Answer: she is Anne Lowe, as recounted in Hasted's Kent which also gives Moulton's father and grandfather, both of the London area.
TFPL, Nov 2004: Crap! She was Jane, according to her son Thomas in the Lambard diary.

He was knighted by K. Jas I on 11 Feb 1607 between the gallery and the chapel at Whitehall.
