Burke’s Colonial Gentry says he had a dau. Elizabeth Hamilton who m. William Mure, father of the Wm Mure who m. Jean Hamilton, dau of Hans Hamilton. Sounds a bit close for my taste. But this is also found in the current Burke’s Landed gentry for Scotland.
