Notes for Rev Richard Deare Pierpoint
In E A P's notes he was listed as "Rev P D Pierpoint", but the census entry looks 100% he and his wife and has the name of Richard. But I have not checked the original of the enumerator's records.
There is a birth on FreeBMD which has to be him:
Births Sep 1838, PIERO Richard Deare Huntingdon 14 162
But there is no image of the index file to check the surname.
On his marriage record in FreeBMD, it confirms his first name of Richard and gives his second name of Deare.
I can find no death record on FreeBMD up to 1910.
In 1891 he was Rector of West Halton Lincs.
In 1901 they were in Eastbourne, probably retired.
In 1911 he was a widower, still in Eastbourne.
