Notes for Sir William d' Estuteville
He is fairly certainly of the same family as the Stutevilles, see E T Clay in Vol IX of Early Yorks Charters, p. 43.
There is a strong possibility that he is the same chap as the William de Stuteville who married Margaret de Say in 1219-1220. See CP IX p. 261 and note (e) thereon. If this is accepted, it is then likely that Margery's mother was Margaret de Say.
Rosie Bevan confirmed this on 2.9.2002 on soc.gen.med.
