Burke’s extinct peers says she became in her issue, namely her grandson Simon, co-heir to the Colvilles, lords Colville. CP agrees, III, p. 375, note (d).

Carol McDonald issued on 11 April 2012 her updated account of the family of basset of Sapcote and included within it this evidence that Elizabeth was the mother of Simon Colville:
“The IPM of Robert Colville [died 1369] clearly defines that he was the son of Walter son of Edmund, brother of Elizabeth, mother of Simon Basset, father of Ralph Basset, who was recorded on one of his heirs.”
