GeneralWidow of Charles Hendrick when she m. John Wetherall.
FatherThomas Wolfe (1705-1787)
Notes for Mary Wolfe
Sep 2008: Her maiden name is not clear.  It may have been Hendrick or this may have been her married name from her first marriage.

May 2009, TFPL.  She was found on p. 727 in Burke’s History of the Colonial Gentry in the entry from Lt Col Robert Wolfe of Australia, pp. 723-730.  She seems to have been the daughter (if I interpret Burke’s tabulations correctly) of Thomas Wolfe of Forenaughts and Baronrath, both apparently Co. Kildare, Ireland, and of Margaret Lombard.  She m. (1) in 1758 Charles Hendrick and (2) in 1767 John Wetherall.

March 2016: Her marriage to John found on a transcript on the <churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie> website.
______________

No other record found for her, not even her burial, on any register from 1770 to 1850.

But a Mrs Wetheral of Capel St was buried on 19 Dec 1796.
Notes for Charles & Mary (Family)
In the index of Ireland Diocesan and Prerogative Marriage Licence Bonds (from FindmyPast), there is this entry:

1758:  Hendrick  Charles and Woulfe Mary  M.L.  213

The next step is to find where the marriage actually occurred.  The Wolfes came from Kildare.

Notes for John & Mary (Family)
The trancription of the marriage register is:

“1767  June 26  Jno Wetherell [sic] & Mary Hendrick, Prerogve Licece, by Andw Buck.”

This transcript is found as a series of scans on this website: <churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie>.  I am not clear what the name was of the book they were printed in.

I now also have scanned copies of this book, the Prerogative marriage licence bond and the entry in the parish marriage register.

I also have the entry for the marriage licenc bond for Mary Wolfe’s first marriage to Charles hendrick in 1758.
