Notes for Edward Salwey
Various members of his family have MIs in Ludlow, both in St Lawrence’s church and on a house in Broad Street; one such says that the family came from Richard’s Castle.
He and Harriet had two daus, Harriet and Margaret; Burke gives no more details, but in view of his short married life, I wonder if the second was posthumous? A Margaret Frances Salwey was born in Cheltenham in Q3 of 1840, according to FreeBMD.
