Notes for Cecil Fane
The latest Cecil Fane to be born on FreeBMD was in Q3 of 1859, which would make him sound a little too old for marriage in 1913.  Though there is a Cecil Fan_, possibly Fane, born in Q3 of 1894, but this is a little young for this marriage.
______________

In the 1911 census there was this widower Cecil Fane, who might well be the chap born in 1859, but I still doubt that he married Florence:

Might one of these have been his first marriage:

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Marriages Jun 1892   (>99%)
BADEN Clara Minnie St. Geo. H. Sq. 1a 820
BETTS William St. Geo. H. Sq. 1a 820
FANE Cecil St. Geo. H. Sq. 1a 820
Goddard Alice Mary St.Geo.H.Sq. 1a 820

If so, it looks like he married Alice Mary Goddard whose death was:

Surname First name(s) Age District Vol Page
Deaths Mar 1899   (>99%)
Fane Alice Mary 32 B. Stortford 3a 329

The only Clara Fane death between 1892 and 1911 was 17 in 1903 so could not have married in 1892.

The marriage announcement in The Times says he was the son of the late Col J W Fane and one of them was of Wormsley, Oxon.

In 1871, there was a Lt Col John W Fane at Wormsley House, Stokenchurch, Bucks with an enormous establishment of 14 servants.  He said he was 66, Lt Col Commander of Oxfordshire Militia and landowner and born in Ibstone, Bucks.  In the household was his wife Victoria aged 32 and a daughter Charlotte E Phillpotts, nee Fane, and aged 23.  But not a son Cecil.  This is making it look very likely that Cecil was born around 1859.

In 1861 there was no sign of John Fane nor of Cecil.

John W Fane died aged 71 in 1875:

Surname First name(s) Age District Vol Page
Deaths Dec 1875   (>99%)
FANE John William 71 Marylebone 1a 380

In 1871 there was a Cecil Fane boarding at a school in Rugby aged 11 born in Farnham, Surrey, and with a Frederick Fane born in Wormsley, Oxford aged 13 and undoubtedly an elder brother.

So I think this has to be his birth:

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Births Sep 1859   (>99%)
FANE Cecil Farnham 2a 90

and Frederick was born:

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Births Sep 1857   (96%)
Fane Frederick William Wycombe 3a 367

In 1911 Frederick was living at Wormsley, Stockenchurch, a banker with Wm Child & Co and with hsi wife of 30 years and they had had no children; they had a modest 9 servants.

and Frederick may have died, as the age is right:

Surname First name(s) Age District Vol Page
Deaths Mar 1933   (>99%)
Fane Frederick W 75 Wycombe 3a 1598

See The Times of 17th May 1933 for a notice of his memorial and funeral service.

He died before 1967 which is when his wife died and she was reported to be his widow.
