Notes for William Williams Bromfield
I have deduced that he is the father of Ellen Worth, nee Bromfield, the wife of Jesse Worth. My reasoning is:
We know that Ellen was born Bromfield from her marriage record in Dunchurch on 1 Mar 1832.
In 1851 William was recorded as having a daughter Katherine, unmarried and aged 26, making her born around 1825.
In 1881 we find a Catherine Bromfield, unmarried, aged 59 as a farmer in Dunchurch on 250 acres with 5 men and 1 boy and having living with her one Ellen E Worth, listed as Catherine neice. Ellen is down as 48 years old, so born around 1833 and in Great Harwood, Bucks. This Ellen must be precisely Ellen Worth nee Bromfield's daughter.
So Catherine Bromfield must be Ellen Worth's sister.
So, provided Katherine is Catherine and a minor slippage of age ignored, it looks like William and Mary Bromfield are the parents of Ellen Worth née Bromfield.
There is an IGI record of a William Bromfield christened on 27th Dec 1792 at Bromsgrove, Worcs, parents Benjamin and Elizabeth Bromfield. But he said in the census that he was born in Dunchurch, so probably no connection...

Clearly there is a William Williams Bromfield who d. in Q4 of 1868 at Rugby but aged 84. But his age is given as 84 which is seven years older than his received birth date. What do the censuses say for his birth date?
