God-daughter of her mother’s paternal aunt Harriet Simpson, née Welbank.
She was alive in April 1887 and living at Horton Manor, unmarried, as she registered her father's death on 2nd April 1887. Her Admon gave her death date of 28 Sep 1912.
In 1901 she was aged 64 and living in Paddington London, supported by her own means.
There is on FreeBMD a Harriet Trotter who died aged 70 in Q1 of 1907 giving a birth year of 1837 which ties up well; her death was in Bramley, W Yorks which does not tie up so well. Otherwise no probable death record up to 1910; probably she lived till well after that. No birth record on FreeBMD.
TFPL, Apr 2008: As well as snippets in the above, her admon and will show that she and her sister Gertrude Helen had lived together at 7 Devonshire Rerrace, Hyde Park. Previously she had lived at 42 Gloucester Terrace, Hyde Park.
