29 Oct, 1858: “83rd Foot, Littleton Albert Powys, Gent., to be Ensign, by purchase, vice Karslake, promoted. Dated 29th October, 1858.”

21 Dec 1850: “83rd Foof, Ensign Littleton Albert Powys to be Lieutenant, by purchase, vice Gandy, promoted. Dated 21st December, 1860.”

20 Feb 1866: “83rd Foot, Lieutenant Littleton Albert Powys to be Captain, by purchase, vice Charles Henry S. Jones, who retires. Dated 20th February, 1866.”

18 Dec 1866: “59th Foot, Captain Littleton Albert Powys, from the 83rd Foot, to be Captain, vice Brevet-Major Charles Stuart Baker, promoted to a half-pay Majority, without purchase. Dated i 8ih December, 1866.”
