Notes for Sir William Littleton
A descendant, John Lyttelton of Franklyn, d. 1532, m. Elizabeth dau of Sir Gilbert Talbot, has a will in Test Vet, p. 654. The only problem is finding the intervening generations. Dec 24, 2002: Found in Burke's 1885 Peerage, p. 853; the John concerned is Wm.'s son by his second marriage.
And there is another (or the same?) John Littleton of Frankley who m. Muriel Bromley, dau. of Sir Thos Bromley, Lord Chief justice who died in 1587.
A further descendant, Thomas, son of John both of Franckley, was given a baronetcy in 1618. In his article in his Complete baronetage, GEC states that this Thos Lyttleton was a lineal descendant and heir male of Sir Thos L., the judge who d. in 1481.

In his completely undated will he lists:

Mary his second wife [Nicolas says she was dau. of William Whittington of Paunltley, Glos and Elizabeth dau, of Renfred Arundel of Lanhearn, Cornwall and sister and coheir ofJohn Arundel, bishop of Exeter],
William Burley his grandfather,
His [unmarried] daughter Elizabeth [to his second wife Mary?].
