Notes for Alexander Trotter
In the Roll of Burgesses of Edinburgh, there is this entry:
Trotter (blank), B. and G., s. to Alexr. T. of Ketliesheill, at earnest desire of Mortounhall (who 1 Dec 1675 offered free the springs on Mortounhall for water supply) 15 Dec 1675.
I wonder if this Alexander is the (blank)?
Anyhow on 16 Feb 1675 1676 a Henry Trotter of Mortounhall was admitted by right of his father John Trotter. Sounds like a connection between the two families.
