His will was made in 28 Sept 1648 and proved on 26 Apr 1653 by Anne ALANEY his relict:

To ANN my wife #2300
To JOHN SLANY my son #1500
To my two daughters Elizabeth Slaney and Anne SLANEY #1500 each the said legacies to be put at interest until my said three children accomplish to their ages of 21 years.  If my said daughter[s] should be bestowed in marriage with the consent of my executrix before the ages of 21 the the said legacies to be paid to my said daughters.
To my mother ELIZABETH HATTON for life my messuage tenement or Farm which I lately purchased called Hurdestye situate in the parish of Stoake Blisse county Worcester and after her decease the said farm to be sold and the money arising out of such sale to be divided amongst the children of my sister ELIZABETH BARKER wife of AMBROSE BARKER.
To the Churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of St Helesn in the city of Worcester where I was born #30.
To my sister the said ELIZABETH BARKER #50.
To my brother RICHARD SLANEY #30 to buy an Nagg and to my sister his wife 50/- to make her a ring.

The residure of all and singular my goods chattels leases moneys debts Shipping Plate Rings Jewells household stuff and all other estate whatsoever and wheresoever on this side and beyond the seas I desire to be divided into three parts.  I give one part to my wife and the remaining 2 parts I leave to my children.
I appoint ANNE SLANEY my wife sole executrix requiring her to have care in the education of my children
Overseers I entreat my said uncle Mr John Slaney my said brother Richard Slaney and fr fiend Mr Robert Lant.
