Notes for John Carleton
Visitation of Oxford says he was John Carleton of Baldwin Brightwell, co Oxford... as does that of Herts.  Another one down for Burke...

However the Northants visitation of 1564 says that he was of Walton upon Thames, Surrey, though his eldest son was of Brightwell, Oxon and his second son George was of Wollaston, Northants and the subject of that visitation entry.  This George of Wollaston is in the Oxon 1566-1634 visitations and is shown to have had 1 s. and 2 daus.
