Notes for Anne Lytton
TFPL, 1998 on: There is some uncertainty on who is her father.
(1) RCLPL had her father as Richard Litton
(2) In visitation of Oxford he is "Robt Litton of Harfordsh".
(3) Robert O'Connor has him as "Robert", not "Richard" and the son of Sir Robert Lytton of Knebworth and of Frances, dau of Sir Antony Caverley.
(4) Plaistow says he was Sir Robert Litton, of Knebworth, Herts.
(5) Burke in his extinct baronetcies, p. 554, says he was Richard.
TFPL, June 2002: The Visitation of Herts, p. 151, confirms that Anne's father was Robert and that she was one of four co-heirs with the Lytton estates going to her cousin Rowland Lytton
TFPL, July 2002: Lipscomb's Bucks also confirms this and her death and burial, from the Marlow Register.
TFPL, Oct 2002: The herald's funeral certificate confirms the above, quoted in "The History of the Family of Borlase" (see John Borlase's note).

Dec, 2004: TFPL: From the Brocket Archive site, a licence was issued for her to marry Thomas Broket of Herts. But no other information about this has been found as yet. Thomas may have died early.
