FreeBMD has a death of a Jane Michell in Penzance in Q3 of 1842 but I have my doubts that this is her. Thee were lots of other Jane Michells of that area who died each year.
Her death is not found on the Scotland’s People records either.
She is not to be found with her maiden name in the 1841 Scots census, nor in the English 1841 census.
