Sister of John Nawes of P...O.. S... of the manor of Low Romney (or Lee, Romsey,), Hants.
Not sure if the birth and death dates are hers of her brother’s!
December 2009, TFPL: I have found the will of a John Nowes (NOT Nawes) of Lee in the parish of Romsey in the county of Southton (ie Hants). He did leave ten guineas sums to his “nephew Simon Michell”. His will was dated 8 Aug of the fourth year of King George, 1718 and proved on 3rd August 1719(?). The will set up a trust for educating forty children, which trust survived until around 2000. No sister Anna was mentioned, let alone made an heir; the heir was his daughter Jane.
