Notes for Winifred Barrington
From Mark Noble's "Memoirs of the persons and families who by females are allied to or descended from the protectorate-House of Cromwell" pub in 1784:
"7. Winifred Barrington, married to sir William Mewes or Meaux, of Kingston in the Isle of Wight, created a baronet December 11, 1641; which title became extinct in sir William Meaux, baronet, who died unmarried, in 1705, aged about twenty-one. He left sisters."
