Notes for Geffrey de Neville (was FitzMaldred) Lord of Raby
C of A has him marrying a Margaret. Someone then gave her the name of Longvillers. This is probably a confusion with this Geoffrey's possible son who married Margaret Lungvillers. Is this yet another crass C of A error, seeing that CP was completed by 1950 and this pedigree was prepared by a herald (Woodcock, Somerset Herald) in 1990, admittedly from work originally done in the 1920s?
DNB has her as a Margaret de Lonvvillers as well in the article on the son Robert, published in 1894.
CP calls the wife Joan and adds that she may have been a coheir of John de Monmouth.
