TFPL 1.12.97: Leo van de Pas has the father of Euphemia de Clavering as Sir Robert FitzRoger, 1st Baron Clavering. Not that I trust the C of A but until I get harder info, I'll stick with the C of A name of "John FitzRobert, Lord of Clavering".
TFPL 8.1.98: 'Twas L v d P who provided the dates, though.
13 Aug 1999: Confirmed Leo from CP who corrects Leo a bit.
May 2003: Sanders, Baronies, p. 16: he was the heir to the feudal barony of Blythborough of Stephen de Cressy who d. 1263 and who also was descended from Robt's grandmother Margaret de Chesney.
Moor’s ‘Kts of Ed I’ gives him another son, Alexander who m. Joan and was living 1316; constable of Norwich castle, Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Moor also gives yet another son, Roger who m. Beatrice. He was dead by 22 Nar 1306 leaving a minor dau. and heir Margery who died the following year, leaving her uncle John as her heir.
