In Betham's "Baronetage of England", 1801:
"13. Nicholas, who took to wife Anne, daughter of Thomas Darcy of Tolshunt-Darcy, in Essex; and left two sons, Richard and Sir Nicholas; which Richard was aged 20 at his father's death, Sep 27, 21 Henry VII but died without issue. The said Nicholas had a wife named Elizabeth, that survived him, but whether she, and not Anne, was the daughter of Thomas Darcy is uncertain."
