Notes for Benjamin Lybbe

Benjamin, younger son of John.
He seems to have had a bastard son, Thomas Lybbe, alias Hollowaye, who in 1678 married Katherine Kirsell in Purley church, and had issue, baptised at Purley: Thomas in 1679, Benjamin in 1682, and Katherine who, in 1711, married Richard Best at Whitchurch.
The John Lybbe who in 1738 married Mary Hester (of Tidmarsh) at Purley, may have been a great-grandson of Benjamin's.
