Richard, elder son of John and grandson of Richard the Sewar
According to his son, the slave, he was the eldest son and heir of the Sewar, served Charles I as an officer, sold his estates, died c.1670.

"1599: Jun 6 LIB Richard s. John, gent."
It is only this Richard that was born around this time, so I have altered the "ca 1590" date previously there. TFPL, May 2000.
