| Smyth says that his name was John. The Kent Visitation of 1619 says his name was Richard, though his eldest son, brother to Anne, was John. The Visitation goes on to say that (in Latin so I hope I can translate it) Anne m. (1) John Goodwin, (2) a Drew and (3) Baron Sands of the Vine, Hants. CP confirms the Visitation. |
