Notes for Margaret de la Laund |
TFPL: Oct, 2003: Smith called her and her father "de Lamere" but both the Leics vis'n and CP and the Lincs pedigrees calls her and her family all "de la Laund". So I've changed the surname to the latter.
A more serious issue between Smyth and the Leics visitation is that Smyth says she dsp and the vis'n says she had the children that Smyth allocated to Petronella Brokesby. I do not know how to resolve this! Though CP states that there is a good account in Arxch Aeliana, 4th Series, Vol V, pp. 9-12. Interestingly in the Brokesby pedigree also in the 1619 Leics vis'n, Maurice is shown as the son of the Brokesby wife of Thos Berkeley (the wife is called Emma...).
The Lincolns pedigrees continue the confusion: Margaret and Sir Thos had a son Maurice who m. Margaret Harrington and had a son John who dsp plus a dau. Elizabeth who m Robet Pakenham. |
