In 1420 she and Richard sold the advowson of the Abbey of Kingswood to Thos, lord Berkeley. Dursley then became owned by a Wike or Wikes family until c.1566 when a Mr Robert Wikes sold it to Edmund Woolworth aka Webbe. Robert Wikes was known to John Smyth who saw Robt many times in Fleet street living as a pauper. | ||||||
