Feudal baron of of Wigmore, Herefords.
Until his elder brother died, before Aug 1274, he was bred for a career in the church and had been promised some benefice by Henry III in 1265. But his brother's death stopped this. He received his inheritance in Nov 1282 after his father's death in Oct 1282. |
