In 1939 there was a Thomas Henry Reynolds living in Maidenhead and working as a barman. He was also born on 25 Nov 1900. He was married to a Phyllis H M Reynolds who was born on 4 May 1914. I just wonder if there were two Thomas Henry Reynolds born in 1900/1?
Further inspection of this 1939 entry shows that the householder, and Publican, was a Frederick W Howe, very probably the father of Phyllis M H Reynolds.
On further thoughts, examining the marriage shows that it is between Thomas H A Reynolds and Phyllis M H Howe and that it occurred in Q4 of 1937. His third initial makes it even more likely that it is him and that purchasing their marriage certificate would be likely to confirm this.
Searching for Reynolds births with a mother’s maiden name of Howe from 1937 to 1957 gives these:

It sounds like some more money is needed for a birth certificate as well as a marriage certificate. I am not convinced that this will be money well spent.
But I have ordered the marriage certificate for Henry and Phyllis.
