Aged 50 there is a marriage between Michael H Nielsen and Mary F Crawford in Evesham. Does this need a marriage certificate to see if it is him with his father names thereon?
Ordered on 15th April. Delivered on 29th April. Indeed it looks like him but it was his second marriage, to a lady who was 52; so they were unlikely to have any children.
The marriage certificate also included that his father’s job was ’Sales Representative (retired)’ so this corroborates the information on his sister’s marriage certificate and makes it more likely that the certificate obtained was indeed hers.
But who was his first wife?
I searched again but this time for a ’Niels?n’ to bring in the Nielson spelling and got him, as Nielson, marrying a Yvonne Stevens in 1976 in Birmingham. But no Nielsen or Nielson births with a Stevens (or similar) mother found.
