FLETCHER, ROLAND SACKVILLE, Capt., 1st Battn. (5th Foot) The Northumberland Fusiliers, wnd s. of Lionel Fletcher, of Elmscroft, West farleigh, co. Kent; b. London 24 march, 1882; educ. Charterhouse; gazetted 2nd Lieut. Feb 1901, and Capt. 4 Sept 1912; was employed with the west African Frontier Force from 5 Nov. 1904, to 28 Jan. 1910; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders, and died 2 Nov, 1914, from wounds received in action the previous day.
