Her will was dated 14 Jan 1929. She appointed her son Edward Stopford Sackville and the Public Trustees as executors.
She gave a life interest in her shares in John Shields & Co Ltd to her son Edward Stop ford Sackville, with remainder to her cousins Edith Hamilton and Margaret Smeal and Louisa Sheilds. But any beneficiaries who become Papists are to be deprived of their shares. and if all did that, then the shares were to go to the British and Foreign Bible Society.
If her house wre to be sold, the proceeds to be invested in Government securities or in another proerty held by the Public Trustees.
Sounds like she did not trust her son for one inch in any matter whatsoever.
