She was referred to in the will of her gt-aunt Beatrice Mary Caroline Goudge as ‘Barbare Legge, the child of my said nephew Christopher Legge’.

The only other information is from Burke’s Peerage which lists her as “Barbara Ingrid; b 12 June 1960”.
I have not found any birth information on FindMyPast to confirm this, probably because she was born somewhere abroad. Her parents and siblings had flown in to Boston USA in 1959, two years before she was born. It sounds most likely that she was born in the USA.

There is a British marriage for a Barbara Legge in Gloucestershire in 1994 when she would have been 34 or so. But, short of getting that marriage certificate there is no certainty that this is hers.

At last: From her father’s will she was Barbara Ingrid Begley of Co. Kerry, Ireland. So she married a Begley. This marriage is not in the England and Wales records; if it was in Ireland it will not be released until at least 50 (or is it 75?) years after her death.
