The death index said she was born in 14 Aug 1914, which is in line with the quarter her birth was registered. There were two Doreen McDermots born in 1914, one in March and one in December. This 1975 death could also have been a married surname and NOT her birth or maiden surname.
The above death of Elizabeth Doreen is to be preferred as it corresponds precisely with the birth of the same a few months earlier.
