Notes for Richard & Mary (Family)
From a copy of the page of the parish register supplied by FindMyPast and transcript by me:

“Marriages solemnized in the Parish of St Julian
“in the County of Salop in the Year 1832
Richard Kyte of this Parish
“Bachelor
“and Mary Hartshorn of this Parish
“Spinster
“were married in this Church by Banns with Consent of
“ This Thirteenth Day of
“March in the Year One thousand eight hundred and thirty two
“ By Me Frans Thompson
“This Marriage was solemnized between us: Richard Kyte Mary Hartshorn
“In the Presence of: Margaret Hartshorn Barnabas Hartshorn
“No 454
Two points of interest in the above:
First that the couple and their witnesses all signed their own names. R ichard Kyte very clearly spelled his name as Kyte.
Second that one of the witnesses was Barnabas Hartshorn; I presume that Richard and Mary’s last son, Barnabas, was named after this Barnabas. So might this barnabas have been mary’s father and margaret her mother.
