It is worth noting that in 1965, when Mary Howard wrote her will, a then Ph?lip Henry Conyers Walker was her reserve executor.  I wonder if this was the above Philip Howard or a son of said Philip?

On the subject of naming, the 1901 census recorded his name as Walter Albert O, 1911 just had the initials WAG, his birth, death and burial all make it Walter Albert Griffin.  I think I will go for that.
