Her will was dated 21 October 1987 with codicils dated 20 November 1992 and 28th April 1994. She appointed her sister Frances Evelyn Lys and the solicitors Humphries, Kirk and Miller as her executors, but Frances pre-deceased her so two of that firm acted as directed in the will.
She died at Forest Hill House Nursing Home Rushall Land Corfe Mullen Wimborne Dorset on 19th of October 2003.
In her will she listed:
1. Her god-daughter Deborah Ann Harrington (she must be the daughter of her sister)
2. Simon George and Andrew Francis Lys (her nephews by her brother Martin Frederick Lys),
3. Andrew Patrick Harrington of the same address as Deborah, probably brother to Deborah,
4. Frances Evelyn Lys, hewr sister,
5. Martin Frederick Lys and Elizabeth Ann Lys, her neices by her brother martin.
In the codicils she deleted the legacies to the Harrington relations. But their mention does means that this genealogy can probably be added to include them. A search on Scotland’s People might be productive.
