So I managed to miss two of the children!
He listed:
1. His wife Susan Phyllis Tinley, executor
2. His son Luke Tinley, substiute executor if Susan not available,
3. Joseph Tinley
4. Jacob Jim Tinley
5. Alice Elizabeth Doyle (née Tinley)

So I managed to miss two of the children!
The answer is that for these two children their birth index sheet was recorded with their mother’s name spelled ‘Laurenson’. So that is two votes for Laurenson and four for Lawrenson, the latter being the index records for their mother’s birth and marriage and the birth index for the first and last children.
I could go for paying hard earned money for her birth certificate, but it might be useful to see if the mother’s parents can be identified and what spelling was used for her father’s records.
Later: in the marriage index for the mother’s parents, her father’s surname is clearly Lawrenson. So that’s what it is!
