No baptism record found (odd).
A probate records can be found for Iris Muriel Joy who died in Hants in 1999. I can believe that this was her. But there is no death record on FindMyPast’s database, which is odd. For thirty shillings, I think it is worth getting this will.
On second investigation there is a death record but her birth year is given as 1915, which could be an easy mistake if it was not a relative who did the informing. I am still ordering the will as it may give interesting information.
But there are also three marriages for Iris M Joy in the Midlands But there is only the one Iris M Joy birth. Weird.
I cannot identify her in the 1939 Register of Iris Joys. Possibly she was called up and thus not on that register.
I have flagged her for the 1921 census.
