There is a marriage on record between Susan Stockford and Brian L Nelson in Ploughley, Oxon in 1970
This may have lead to a birth in 1978 of a Lesley Suzanne Nelson but Susan would have been 48 then so I doubt it.
Further the 1939 register says she changed her surname to Pickering and I can’t see that here.
So I have given up on her too.
