But there is one possibility on English records:

And the same on Ancestry’s records.
There are 3 marriages of Mary S Tait on FindMyPast’s ‘World’ records.
I have more or less given up!
Though I have flagged her for a look-up in the 1921 census, to be released within the next year (written on 21 Apr 2021).
