No marriage found on FindMyPast in England and Wales nor with it widened to their ‘World’ nor on Ancestry. But Burke give a marriage date of 21 May 1970.
What can be found on public records are the births of the two sons that Burke also lists.
There are only two children born with the surname of Pretslik between 1965, when Nicholas was 20, and 1985, when he was 40.
Both these children were born in the same district.
Both children have a mother’s maiden name of Scheuring.
So I am including them.
It would be good to get the birth certificates sometime, but I am saving the £22.
The 1981 census will show them (hopefully) but that will not be revealed to the vulgar gaze until 2082 and I will not then be around.
