__________________________
In 1861 census he was with his parents.
In 1871 there was an Arthur Corrie, student at St Bartholomew’s Hospital aged 22 and born in Plymouth and boarding at a house in Plymouth, b ut I don’t think this was he.
Also in 1871 there was a very faint ‘Arthur M Corrie’ but transcribed as ‘Arthur M Corrier’ who was a sub-Lt on a HMS Rattlesnake apparently of St Helena, aged 20 and born in Surrey. This sounds much more like him.

Corrie Arthur Malcolm
Personal Effects £962 16s. 8d.
22 November
Administration of the personal Estate of Arthur Malcolm late of Ryde in the Isle of Wight in the County of Southampton Gentleman a Bachelor who died 20 April 1879 at Hyde was granted at Winchester to Henry Valentine Corrie of 5 Hereford-square in the County of Middlesex Exchange Broker on of the Executors of the Will of Valentine Byrom Corrie the Father and Next of Kin.
(Obviously this was complicated by Arthur’s father Valentine B dying in August 1881 without having completed winding up the affairs of his son Arthur. So Arthur’s brother Henry had to pick up the pieces.
