_______________________

In 1971 he was a boarder at a school in Brighton.

In 1881 he was living with his mother.

In 1891 he was at his mother’s with his wife.

In 1901 he and his wife were at Barnet.

In 1911 He, his wife and his brother were living together and none of them had any surviving children.  This means that all of this line died out as Mary never married or had children and Peter never had children either.

The household was at Endillion Latimer Road New Barnet, Monken Hadley, Middlesex:

Ref:   1911 ref: RG14PN7148 RG78PN351 RD131 SD2 ED9 SN93

Ellen reported on this census that in 35 years of marriage she had had one child only who had died.

I have failed to find any registered birth for a child of Cecil and Ellen’s.  I have searched for males and female births from 1870 through to 1907 on the new GRO register that included the mother’s maiden name.  So I have no idea what their report in the 1911 census could be referring to.

And I definitely cannot find the Dora Leversage who was a granddaughter in Margaret Ann’s 1901 census when Dora was 21 years old.

He survived to be entered in the 1939 register and a piece of tape had been used to mend a break in the sheet where his birth date was written.  Buy by plaring with Apple’s colour controls has enabled me to see that his birth was recorded at 26 Aug (18)55.

His probate index:

LEVERESAGE Cecil De Worthe of Endellion Latimer-road New Barnet Hertfordshire died 9 May 1944 Probate Llandudno 21 July to Rose Alice Cooper spinster and Geoffrey Deeks flight-lieutenant R.A.F.  Effects $5984 4s.

I am not sure who Rose Alice Cooper was but Geoffrey Deeks has to have been a relation of his wife’s.

Later: The 1939 register revealed that Rose Cooper had been his housekeeper in 1939.
